Letters to my children~September

It has been a few months since I have participated in the Letters to my children blog circle but I just got a new Canon 6D and tortured my children with a mini shoot to test it out and I though this would make the perfect time to blog the pictures. Make sure to click this link to check out the next blog in the circle to see some more amazing pictures http://www.terricollinsphotography.com/letters-to-our…/

Dear Drayce and Deegan,

School started only a few short weeks ago and you are now 3rd and 1st graders. I miss spending our days together but you have an amazing school and I know they are taking good care of you. Our summer went by too fast and we didn’t get to do all of the fun things I hoped we would do but we will make up for that next summer for sure.

You two fight like normal brothers do but I know that the two of you are the best best of friends. You have so much love for each other and it is exactly what I had dreamed my children would be like.

You still love your dog more than anything though and he loves you the same.

Drayce you have finally decided to cut your hair. You have been growing it out for a long time to be like your Uncle Joel so I was so surprised when from out of the blue you asked to cut it. I have to say that I was happy with that decision. I believe it is your hair and you can do what you want with it but I am glad I don’t have to correct people anymore when they call you a girl plus now it is easier to take care of. Deegan got a trim too and of course we wouldn’t have anyone else but our amazing friend Devyn cut your hair.  www.hairbydevynmccarty.weebly.com . She was more nervous about cutting all your hair off than you were because last time she had trimmed it you were a little upset with her for a few minutes. She cut 8 inches off!

And afterwards we went out for some ice cream to celebrate your new cuts.

I always knew growing up that I wanted to be a mother and everyday I am thankful for the opportunity to have the two of you in my life. I love you more than anything!
